Educational Qualification: Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification: Diploma in Company Law, Labour Laws, or Public Administration.
Nationality: Must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or meet standard Government of India eligibility criteria.
💰 Salary & Pay Scale Details
Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).
Starting Basic Pay: ₹56,100/- per month.
Classification: Central Board Group ‘A’, Non-Ministerial (Equivalent to Group ‘A’ post of Central Government).
Perks & Benefits: Standard Central Government allowances (Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance) plus coverage under the National Pension System (NPS).
⏳ Age Limit
Cutoff Date for Age: 11 September 2026 (Closing date of online application).
General (Male): Upper age limit is 35 years.
General (Female): Upper age limit is 35 years.
OBC: Upper age limit is 38 years (3 years relaxation).
SC / ST: Upper age limit is 40 years (5 years relaxation).
PwBD: Relaxation up to 10 years (Maximum age limit: 56 years).

📝 Selection Process
The selection for the post of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner will be conducted in two stages with a weightage ratio of 75:25:
Pen & Paper-based Recruitment Test (RT): 2-hour objective offline exam carrying 300 marks. Every wrong answer carries a penalty of 1/3rd mark.
Personality Test / Interview: Evaluated out of 100 marks with category-wise minimum suitability criteria (UR: 50 marks, OBC: 45 marks, SC/ST/PwBD: 40 marks).
