🎓 Post Wise Qualification & Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed the 10th standard (Matriculation) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
• Maximum Education Restriction: Candidate must NOT have passed Graduation examination or its equivalent.
• Language Proficiency: Candidate should be able to speak, read, and write in Tamil language.
• Service Background: Ex-Servicemen / Ex-Agniveers from the Army, Navy, or Air Force with an “EXEMPLARY” character rating at the time of valid discharge.
• Medical Standard: Minimum SHAPE-1 or AYE medical standard at the time of discharge.

💰 Salary & Pay Scale Details

Selected candidates will be placed in the Subordinate Staff cadre under the 12th Bipartite Settlement:

• Pay Scale: ₹19,500 - 665/4 - 22,160 - 830/5 - 26,310 - 990/4 - 30,270 - 1,170/3 - 33,780 - 1,345/3 - 37,815
• Basic Pay Fixation: Basic pay will be fixed based on the last drawn salary during defense service.
• Perks & Allowances: In addition to basic pay, candidates are entitled to DA, HRA, medical assistance, and other standard allowances as per bank policies and Industry-wide Bipartite Settlements.
• Probation Period: 6 months of active service from the date of joining.

⏳ Age Limit (as on 01.08.2026)

• Basic Age Limit: Minimum 18 Years, Maximum 26 Years.
• General (Male/Female Ex-Servicemen): 26 Years + Actual Defense Service Period + 3 Years (Maximum upper age limit capped at 45 Years).
• OBC Category: 29 Years + Actual Defense Service Period + 3 Years (Maximum upper age limit capped at 45 Years).
• SC / ST Category: 31 Years + Actual Defense Service Period + 3 Years (Maximum upper age limit capped at 45 Years).
• Agniveer: 21 Years + Actual Service Period as Agniveer + 3 Years.

📝 Selection Process

The selection procedure comprises a total score evaluation across three sequential stages:

1. Online Objective Type Test (80 Marks):
   • Knowledge of English Language: 20 Marks
   • Aptitude Test: 20 Marks
   • Arithmetic Test: 20 Marks
   • Psychometric Test: 20 Marks
2. Local Language Test (20 Marks):
   • Assessment of reading, writing, and speaking skills in Tamil.
3. Physical Fitness Test (100 Marks):
   • Push-Ups: 30 Marks (Qualifying: 20)
   • Sit-Ups: 30 Marks (Qualifying: 20)
   • One-Kilometre Run: 30 Marks (Qualifying: 20)
   • Drill Test: 10 Marks (Qualifying: 5)
